The main objective if the evaluations of this framework contract, was to analyze the effects of the CAP on the environment and climate change. The dozen of evaluations of this framework contract were, among others, focused on the effects of measures such as the greening of the CAP on the environment, the effects of CAP measures on biodiversity, the effects of European policies on forests, etc. In all evaluations, a first series of questions was related to the effects of policy on beneficiaries’ practices and on the economy and a second set was dedicated to the effects of these changes on the environment and climate. All evaluations included systematically an analyze of the consistency, relevance, efficiency, effectiveness and impact of the evaluated measures.

Oréade-Brèche was leader of half of these evaluations on behalf of the Alliance Environment consortium. The main services of Oréade Brèche consisted in:
- Designing methodology and assessment tools
- Supervising of teams responsible for conducting case studies in member states and conducting some of these case studies
- Carrying out data and statistical analyzes
- Formulating responses to the evaluation questions
- Making recommendations to the European Commission.
